This past week my little brother left on his mission for The Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints to Campinas, Brazil. I'm sure that anyone who has ever had someone they are close with leave on a mission knows how bittersweet it is. I am so excited and proud of him and know he will have a great experience, but 2 years is a very long time! He flew to Brazil on Tuesday afternoon and then on Wednesday we got a letter from the President of the Missionary Training Center in Brazil letting us know that he made it there safely. Now are just awaiting for an e-mail from him! It hasn't really sunk in that he has left yet, but I'm sure it will in a few weeks when we go to Ohio for Christmas and he isn't there. I had fun looking through some pictures I had on my computer of him.
I have always loved how close Darrell & Kory are!

Awww, cute!! I can't believe how old Kory looks in some of these pictures. I haven't seen him in so long. And I totally know how you feel - having my sister leave was really difficult at first! But time will pass by quickly :)
